Alvin Scott, 94, of Yellville, died Tuesday, April 19 (2011) at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Burns Funeral Home, Yellville. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Main Street Church of Christ, Yellville. Interment will follow at Georges Creek Cemetery, Yellville.
The son of James Burt and Lula (Russell) Scott was born Dec. 13, 1916, at Colony, Kan. He was the father of Jerry Scott, Alva Dean Stills and Carolyn Robison.
