Service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with interment at Maplewood Cemetery.

Betty Willoughby, age 78, of Harrison, went to meet her Heavenly Father Monday, Dec. 11 (2017) at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri. She was born Aug. 7, 1939, in Harrison, the daughter of Si and Ora (White) Speak.

Betty was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church. She married Phillip Willoughby Oct. 12, 1968. She had been a prior resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, for 25 years before retiring back to Harrison. She enjoyed caring for their home and making an assortment of crafts.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Phillip; and her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Juanita Speak, of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Bill Speer and Frankie and Bob Henson; her nieces and nephews, Donita Speak, Connie and Roger Matthews, Cindy and Jack McKenzie, Bill, Jr. and Terri Speer, Greg and Diane Speer, Jeff and Jennifer Robinson and Ed and Angi Robinson; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews, who were her greatest joy.

Funeral service is at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Rev. Brian Herring and Joan Mobley officiating. Interment is in Maplewood Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Bill Speer Jr., Greg Speer, Jeff Robinson, Tyler Robinson, Ed Robinson and Brandon Robinson.

Honorary pallbearers are Bill Speer, Bob Henson, Dr. Tom Langston, Vic Snyder, Austin Mobley, Jana Lou Ragland and Kathy Freeman.
