Funeral and internment at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at St. John's Episcopal Church.

Celine Madeline Stuckey (Mémère) passed away on Saturday, Nov. 3 (2018) after a long battle with COPD at Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation at the age of 78. She was surrounded by many who loved her and is now with her Savior.

Celine was born on Feb. 6, 1940, in Southbridge, Massachusetts, which is where she was raised by her parents, Armand and Estelle (Belanger) St. Germain. She received a college diploma at Becker Junior College and spent most of her career as a medical transcriptionist.

Celine was preceded in death by her daughter, Michele, and parents, Armand and Estelle St. Germain.

She is survived by her brother and his wife, Armand and Brenda St. Germain, along with their children Jenny and Kim. She is also survived by her former husband, Ross Stuckey, and three wonderful children to whom she was very close. Her children are Valerie Stuckey Martin, and Lon and Clay Stuckey, as well as their children, Tave’, Taylor, Ashley, Samuel, Madeleine, Carter, Addison and Hayden. Mémère loved her grandbabies.

She also loved her New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox and was very proud of all their success over the past decade. She made sure to remind of us of their success often. She loved to be around people whether a party, concert or a dance. She would often become the life of the party. Cheers, Mom!

The family would like to thank the staff at Spring Valley (formerly Manor Care) in Springfield, Missouri, for their love and caring for our mother over the last years of her life. They were more than just caregivers, they were her friends and the love is mutual.

There will be a funeral service and internment at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Harrison. Flowers are welcome and can be sent to the Parish Hall at St. John’s Episcopal church or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the COPD Foundation (https://www.copdfoundation.org/).
