Claire Elaine Payne, 83, of Harrison, died Monday, June 29 (2015) at Harrison.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at Holder Chapel, Western Grove Cemetery, with Don Avaritt and Bill Laramore officiating. Arrangements are by Holt Memorial Chapel.
Burial will be at Western Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Chris Patrick, Scott Patrick, Jason Avaritt, Phillip Branch, Drew Tabor, Kris Clifft and Don Buck. Honorary pallbearers include sons-in-law, Don Avaritt, Brock Tabor, Bill Laramore and Rob Sharp and friends from the Harrison Senior Center.

The daughter of Ernest Rocha and Julia Martin Rocha was born April 3, 1932, at Oakland, California. She was a longtime member of the Harrison Senior Club and loved playing bingo and Bunco with her friends. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved her family dearly.
She was preceded in death by her her husband, John Payne Jr.; eight brothers and sisters; and one great-granddaughter, Austyn Avaritt.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Bill) Laramore, Laura (Rob) Sharp, Linda (Don) Avaritt and Julie (Brock) Tabor; a brother, Ernest Rocha; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
