Service: 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at First Assembly of God, with graveside service at 3 p.m. at Mulberry Cemetery in England; arrangements by McNabb Funeral Home, Pocahontas.

Clayton Clyde Hodges, 84, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 24 (2015).

C.C. was born March 26, 1931, in Stewart, Oklahoma, to Lee and Tula Harvey Hodges. 

He was an Assemblies of God pastor for 62 years, as well as Sectional and Executive Presbyter of the Arkansas Assemblies of God for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Jerrie Hodges, of the home; son, Clayton Jr. (Kim) Hodges, of Yellville; daughter, Pat (Rick) Casey, of Yellville; step-daughters, Sue Nelson, of Jonesboro, and Theresa (Bruce) Taylor, of Portland, Oregon; nephew, Allen (Shirley) Hodges, of Pottsville; grandchildren, Shawn and Ashley Casey, and Jada, Carrie and Ryan Hodges; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geneva Hodges; his parents; a twin brother, Jack Hodges; and brothers, Henry, Doyle and Judge Hodges.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, at First Assembly of God Church in Pocahontas. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held the following day, at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at First Assembly of God Church, with Terry Miller and Dorvin Ricketts officiating. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. at Mulberry Cemetery in England.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pocahontas First Assembly of God Church.
