Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at Crossroads Church, Compton, with interment at Crossroads Cemetery, Compton; Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Clifford Milburn Beaver, age 61, of Compton, passed away Sunday, Aug. 2 (2015) in Springfield, Missouri.  

He was born Oct. 3, 1953, in Harrison, the son of John Milburn and Irene (Parker) Beaver.  

Clifford was preceded in death by his father, John Beaver; his grandfathers, Walter Parker and Ralph Beaver; and his grandmother, Ovie Beaver.

Clifford was a member of Crossroads Church in Compton. He married Dema Gibbins on Nov. 22, 1975, in their new home. He was a taxidermist and auto body repairman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and, most of all, his grandchildren.

Clifford is survived by his mother, Irene Deibert, of Compton; his wife, Dema Beaver, of the home; his son, Brant Beaver, of Compton; his daughter, Crystal Anderson, of Compton; his grandmother, Alma Parker, of Compton; his sisters, Linda Saunders, of Denver, Colorado, Diane Cook, of Compton, and Kathy Cline, of Kingston; his brothers, Johnny Beaver, of Compton, Jackie Beaver, of North Green, Colorado, and Steve Beaver, of Denver, Colorado; two grandchildren, Alesha Anderson and Brayden Anderson; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at Crossroads Church located on Fire Tower Road in Compton, with Brother Craig Villines and Brother Donnie Villines officiating.

Interment is in Crossroads Cemetery, Compton. Pallbearers are Dempsey Gibbins, Michael Gibbins, Trevor Gibbins, John Anderson, Steve Villines, Ed Porter and Billy Clark.
