Donna B. (Loftin) Sullins, age 66, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 7 (2011). She was born March 21, 1945, at Magic Springs, to Jim and Dottie (Blair) Loftin.
Donna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marshall, where she enjoyed serving on the kitchen committee. She was always ready to help cook and serve meals at the church when she was needed. She also worked by her husband's side for many years at their business, Leroy's Body Shop.
Donna was a loving mother and Granny, and she loved to be called "Old Granny" by her great-grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clyde and Ladon Loftin; two sisters, Lylian Wright and Nellie Thames.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Leroy Sullins, of Marshall; two daughters, Rhonda Rowlett and husband, Larry, of Greenbrier and Reta Brewer and husband, Terry, of Conway; four granddaughters, Amber Rowlett, Nikki Rowlett, Casie Upton and husband, Chad and Amanda Brewer; and two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Will Upton.
Other survivors include six sisters, Lenora Matthews (Carlyle), Zelta Lozano; Priscilla Halsted; Janice (Campbell) Clark (Bob); Sharon Sanders (Gene), and Mary Alice Gerg (Jim); and three brothers, Carl Loftin (Delena), Herbert Loftin (Lois) and Jerry Loftin. A host of nieces and nephews whom she loved very dearly will morn her passing.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home, with Brother Shirl Williams and Brother Roy Ragland officiating. The family will receive guests for visitation beginning at 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Witts Springs Cemetery following the service. Arrangements by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall.
Pallbearers will be Willis Yancey, Dwain Loftin, Willis Dale Horton, Pat Conners, Larry Rowlett and Terry Brewer. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Foley, Richard Hulsey, Leroy Hulsey, Larry Don Horton, Mike Hale, Darris Adams, Daymon Brewer and Danny Bohannon.
