Donna I. Stout

Posted

The family of Donna Stout invites you to join us and celebrate the life of this loving woman who touched the lives of so many with her friendship and service.

She left us unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 12 (2011).

You may have met her at her parent’s Western Auto Store in Yellville, enjoyed her as your waitress or attended one of her Tupperware or Pampered Chef parties. You might have been one of the lucky friends and acquaintances she enjoyed catching up with over a cup of coffee. If you were with her long, she probably cut up or teased you a little.

She believed the kitchen was the heart of the home and felt passionate about helping others, especially working woman with families, to prepare great meals, and to enjoy working with the best products, recipes and techniques. In recent years she was a travel consultant at the Tourist Information Center for the State of Arkansas.

She spent much of her free time enjoying her family, grandchildren and pets, or taking Ozark drives and finding Mom and Pop restaurants and stores along the way.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Fonda Smith of Yellville.

She is survived by a brother, David Smith and family; her husband, David Stout; and three children, Darin Hightshoe, Coy Wayne Chapman and Angela Whitham-Forrest.

The memorial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at Coffman Funeral Home, Harrison. There will be an open call to share a favorite memory or express your feelings if you desire. Casual dress is acceptable.

Online condolences may be left at www.coffmanfh.com.
