Edna Pry, 92, of Harrison, died Wednesday, April 6 (2011) at Hillcrest Home, Harrison.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Pastor Don Robinson and Pastor Michael Ada officiating. Visitation will be open. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Danny Wilkinson, Don Robinson, Denver Martin, David Wilkinson, Jimmy Kimbrell, Heath Taylor and Tony Taylor.
The daughter of Thomas E. and Lulu Julia Pricilla (Hastings) Simpson was born June 13, 1918, in Maryland. She was a member of Highland Wesleyan Church. She was a volunteer with Balswan Children’s Center for 13 years. She was a member of the Cheerful Earfuls for 10 years. She was a careful, helpful friend who took friends to doctor’s appointments and general errands.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank Keenan Pry.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Miekie Geppi of California, Vince and Gloria Geppi of Texas and Hugh and Diane Pry of Maryland; daughters and sons-in-law, DeAna and Roy Weingarten of Colorado, Joan and Bill Pittman of Colorado and Kendra Pry of Arkansas; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
