Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Highway 16 at Deer; Visitation: 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Deer, with arrangements by Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.

Emma Lucille Smith, age 77, of Jasper, died Tuesday, Feb. 12 (2019) in Hindsville.

She was born April 18, 1941, in Lurton, to Otto and Lizzie (Dotson) Tennison.

Lucille worked at Western Electric in Kansas City, Missouri, before moving back to Arkansas to raise her family in Jasper. She retired from Emerson Electric in Harrison.

She loved her family beyond measure, especially the newest member, her first great-grandchild, William. She married her husband Remmel Smith on May 29, 1961, in Miami, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, one brother and parents.

She is survived by her two children, Kim and Michael Campbell, of Huntsville, and Bryan and Christina Smith, of Huntsville; her four grandchildren, Brianne, Courtney, Brannon and Cayden and her great-grandchild, William; brother, Bob Tennison and friend Jackie, of Harrison; sister, Kay and Steve Bickford, of Cowell; along with many more family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Highway 16 at Deer. A visitation will be one hour prior to service. Doors will open at 1 p.m. Private burial will be held at a later date. A dinner for the family will be held at the home in Jasper following the service.
