Esta Kay Lander, a resident of Omaha, was born Sept. 5, 1917, in Enon, a daughter of David Franklin and Clare Maude (Stetson) Keeland. She departed this life Wednesday, April 27 (2011) in Harrison, at the age of 93 years.
Esta was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith.
She is survived by one son, Leon Lander and wife Janice of Omaha; two daughters, Imma Gene Johnson of Blue Eye, Mo. and Juanita May Johnson of Forsyth, Mo.; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
On June 7, 1931, Esta was united in marriage with Elmer Raymond Lander who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents, David and Clare Keeland; three brothers and one daughter.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel, Berryville. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 29, at the McCullough Cemetery.
