Faith Huddleston, 36, of Yellville, passed away Sunday, April 3 (2011). 

She was the daughter of Charles and Shirley Huddleston. Faith was born in Yellville, at Marion County Hospital, on December 28, 1974. She graduated from Yellville-Summit High School in 1993. She attended Arkansas Tech. 

Faith is being welcomed by her Lord and Savior, along with her maternal grandparents, Joe and Willodean Barnes (Yellville) and her paternal grandparents, Calvin and Obeta Huddleston (Mountain Home).

Faith’s legacy is her heart of gold. She loved school, books and music. Reading to her daughter, Isabella, and teaching her to respect others was a great joy. She enjoyed volunteering at Yellville-Summit Elementary. In lieu of flowers, please remember a child at school who has a special need.

Other survivors include her brother, Chuck Huddleston and wife Twylla of Bee Branch and sisters, Wendi Messick and husband Steve of Greenbrier and April Helmke and husband Dirk of Yellville. Her aunts are JoAnn Roden, Jenny Butler, Justine France and Scarlett Lumley. Nephews and nieces are Preston Helmke, Skylar Hughes, Abby Grace Helmke, Maggi Huddleston and Marli Huddleston. She has one daughter, Isabella Chanel Royce.

Pallbearers are Preston Helmke, Scottie Jefferson, Stacy Davenport, Cliff Lumley, Jeff West and Doyne Treat. Honorary pallbearers are Max Tolliver, Joe France, Will Fagan, Drew Fagan and Skylar Hughes. Faith would want to send a special appreciation from her school years to Jesse Bergeron, Joe Connior and Gordon Jackson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Broadway Church of Christ in Yellville. Burial will be at DeSoto Cemetery. Jon Hendrix and Bryan Jefferson will officiate the service.

No visitation is scheduled. Arrangements are by Burns Funeral Home.
