Service: 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with interment at Alpena Cemetery; Visitation: 1-2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at the funeral home.

Floyd L. Inman, age 76, of Alpena, passed away Monday, Feb. 23 (2015) in Fayetteville. He was born April 5, 1938, in Denver, Colorado, to Floyd William and Virginia McCulloch Inman.  

Mr. Inman was of the Baptist faith and retired from the U.S. Army in 1979, having served two tours in Vietnam, and received the Bronze Star Medal, two Army Commendation Ribbons and eight Major Combat Campaigns. He then retired from Civil Service in Thornton, Colorado, in 2000, serving 20 years.     

Floyd is survived by three sons, Monte Inman, Wesley Inman and Lee Inman and two daughters, Serrina Emerson and Desiree Inman.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Anita Inman.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Sam Boyd officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Alpena Cemetery.
