Gary Ellis, a resident of Berryville, was born Dec. 20, 1950, in Berryville, a son of Bobby and Virginia (Coger) Ellis. He departed this life Friday, March 14 (2014) in Berryville, at the age of 63 years.
Gary proudly served in the United States Navy. Gary was of the Baptist faith.
On March 21, 1992, he was united in marriage with Alice Lee Dent who survives him of the home. He is also survived by two sons, William Robert and wife, Amanda Ellis, of Tulsa, Okla., and Michel James and wife, Tracey Ellis, of Brodhead, Wis.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Mark C. Ellis, of Berryville; one sister, Donna and husband, Howard Hill, of Berryville; and a host of friends and loved ones.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Virginia Ellis.
