Joella Lee Pennington Dumas, age 91, of Harrison passed away Wednesday, March 30 (2011) at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison.
The daughter of J.V. and Maude Ella (Rodden) Crain was born Aug. 15, 1919, in LaFores, Texas.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death her parents along with her husband, Willard Everett Pennington; two sisters; and a brother.
Survivors are her children, Beverly Methvin of Harrison, Willard Pennington of Las Vegas, Nev., Jim Pennington of Harrison, Dennis Pennington of Alaska, and Brenda Walton of Wasilla, Alaska. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 1, at Maplewood Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Arrangements are by Coffman Funeral Home.
