Karen Suzanne Spence, age 67, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8 (2017), at her home. She was born April 26, 1950, in Toronto, Canada, the daughter of Gordon and Thelma Iva (Burke) Grills.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Michael J. Spence.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Cheré Samuelson; her grandchildren, Amanda Meleski and Jordan Samuelson; her sisters, Beverly Johnson and Patricia Martinez; her brothers, Doug Grills, Gary Grills, and David Grills; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Memorial graveside service is 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 21, at Maple Leaf Cemetery, with Brother Kerry Leggett officiating.
