A music benefit in memory of Kenny Wells will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Station Bar and Grill in Harrison; arrangements are with Cremations of the Ozarks, Hollister, Mo.

Kenneth “Kenny” Harold Wells, 60, of Harrison, passed away Friday, Aug. 11 (2017). Kenny was born in Texarkana, on Aug. 13, 1956.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks, Hollister, Missouri.

Following Kenny’s wishes, his body has been donated to science.

Known for his music, Kenny was a drummer. He was also known for his tattoos and the stories that accompanied them. His work was in auto body repair as a paint specialist. Kenny also liked time at home, and he will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Wells and Velma Almond; his first wife, Hazel Wells; and an uncle, Dino Almond.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Mindy Wells; stepchildren, Brittiney Smith and Blane Philp; five grandchildren; a brother, Gary Wells and wife; an aunt, Nadine Pate; along with cousins, nephews and nieces.

A music benefit in memory of Kenny Wells will be held from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Station Bar and Grill in Harrison.
