Service: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with interment at Champagnolle Cemetery in El Dorado; Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at the funeral home.

On Thursday, Aug. 9 (2018) Kim Renee Martin Weber passed away from this life and into the arms of her savior Jesus Christ.

A native of El Dorado, the daughter of Billy Martin and Linda Sue Bell (Talley) was born June 6, 1968.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Billy Martin, and her grandparents, D.A. and Odie Talley, and P.K. and Ruby Martin.

Kim graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a master's degree in speech language pathology. She loved providing speech language services to the students of the Harrison School District from 1994 to 2013. Kim continued her service to students with special needs as the Due Process Data Specialist for Harrison from 2014 to present. Professionally, Kim earned the admiration of colleagues and parents for her professionalism and exceptional knowledge in the field of special education. Her impact will be felt for generations to come. Kim was also a member of ASHA, Beta Upsilon, and “Book Club." Kim will be forever remembered and cherished by her husband of 29 years, Joe Weber of Harrison.

Kim loved and was passionate about many things in life. She dearly loved her job and working with children; they brought her great of joy. When Kim wasn’t working, she liked the beach, enjoying a good glass of wine, and visiting wineries. Kim also had a huge love for music, and was a John Mellencamp fan. Kim was devoted to her family and they were a big part of her life. Kim’s two special babies (Lucy and Piper) had a special place in her heart. “Kim was the most non-judgmental, selfless, loving person you could ever meet” - Joseph Weber.

Kim is survived by her husband, Joseph Weber; her son, Joseph (Jennifer) Thomason Weber; and three grandchildren, Justis, Serenity and Hayden. Kim is also survived by her mother, and stepfather, W.I., and her brother, Kirk and Amy Martin. In addition, Kim is survived by her dear friend of many years, Julie Gleghorn.

Throughout life, Kim demonstrated unwavering strength despite the multitude of physical challenges she faced; accepting whatever life may bring with grace and dignity, Kim maintained her positivity and spark, and trusted The Lord’s path every slow and labored step of the way.

Kim’s family asks that you join the celebration of her precious life on earth and new freedom in Heaven.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Wayne Kelley.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Young’s Funeral Home in El Dorado. Visitation will be held an hour prior.

Interment will be in Champagnolle Cemetery in El Dorado.
