Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Coffman Funeral Home, Harrison, with burial at Hilltop Cemetery.
Lois June Bettencourt, age 74, of Willits, Calif. and Harrison, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18 (2012) at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison.
The daughter of Guy Oliver and Ruth (Rogers) Deakins was born Feb. 9, 1938, at Fairfax, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Martha Ann Bettencourt; two brothers, Kenny Guy Deakins and Martin Dean Deakins; a sister-in-law, Joyce Deakins; a grandson, Christopher Bourquin; and a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Bourquin.
Survivors are her husband, Louis Bettencourt, of the home; her son, Doug Bourquin and wife, Sheila, of Harrison; daughters, Debbie Flores and husband, Herb, of Benton and Cheryl Dunlap, of Longview, Texas; stepsons, Nick Bettencourt and wife, Christa, of Santa Rosa, Calif. and John Bettencourt, of California; two brothers, Cecil Deakins and wife, Lynn, of Dover, Del. and John Deakins, of Lancaster, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Neva (Deakins) Novell, of Harrison; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and very close friends.
There will be no visitation.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel, Harrison. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery, with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
