Mary 'Melissa' Dart

Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Gaither Baptist Church.

Ms. Mary “Melissa” Dart, 51, died at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri, on Saturday, Nov. 7 (2015). The cause was brain aneurysm.

Born Aug. 28, 1964, in Harrison, she lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Houston, Texas, before settling in Nixa, Missouri. 

Survivors include her longtime companion, Lori Booth; her mother, Thelma Lucille Dart (Fortner); and brother, James W. Dart. 

Melissa was preceded in death by her father, William L. Dart.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Gaither Baptist Church, Gaither.
