Michael Anthony Jeter, of Harrison, died Sunday, April 17 (2011). He was 34 years old.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Holt Memorial Chapel. Brother Steven Muller will officiate. Honorary pallbearers include Chad, Clint, Forrest, Nick and Phil.

The son of Cindy Cotton was born Oct. 29, 1976, at West Memphis. Michael graduated high school at Granbury, Texas. He worked for American Concrete and had a degree in field engineering and HVAC.

He was an avid artist who loved to draw, especially portraits of his children and family. Michael was also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He enjoyed fishing, camping and doing activities with his children and family.

Most of all, he looked to his Savior for guidance in his life, especially in the last years of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa (Murphy) Jeter of the home; five children, Forrest, Ivy and Cloee of Huey Town, Ala. and Jamen and Emma of Harrison; two stepchildren, Elizabeth and Timithy; his mother, Cindy Cotton of Harrison; grandparents, Joyce and Leo Douglass of Harrison; grandfather, J.C. Cotton, Jr. of North Richland Hills, Texas; uncle, Nick Cotton; aunt, Melanie Cotton; and lots of loving cousins.
