Michele Raye Spears

Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at Batavia Baptist Church, with graveside service at Maple Leaf Cemetery, with arrangements by Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Michele Raye (Liggett) Spears, age 36, of Berryville, graduated to her eternal home in Heaven, Friday May 29 (2015).  

Michele was born July 26, 1978, in Aurora, Illinois, the precious daughter of Kerry and Donna (Hatfield) Liggett.

Survivors are her husband, Michael Lee Spears; one daughter, Dawn Rayelee Spears, and one son, Jorden Cyrus Spears, both of Berryville; her parents, Kerry and Donna Liggett, of Harrison; one sister, Jessica (Jared) Clough, of Arlington, Tennessee; five brothers, Jonathan (Joanna) Liggett, of Guatemala, and Joshua, Nathan, Caleb and Jase Liggett, all of Harrison; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, an uncle and one aunt. 

Michele was a devoted Christian lady who served and loved the Lord. Even though her adversities were overwhelming, she remained a faithful witness to help others see the need to receive Christ. Michele and her husband, Mike, were married May 29, 1999, and together, they shared 16 beautiful years together and her two children were the joy of her life. All who knew Michele loved her sweet spirit and competiveness in our family game time. She was a faithful member of Batavia Baptist Church. She served in the children’s ministries alongside her husband, Mike. 

We take comfort that Michele is in no more pain and in the arms of her Savior; we will all dearly miss her.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at Batavia Baptist Church, with her father, Kerry Liggett, officiating. A graveside service will be at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Harrison. 

Memorials may be made to Batavia Baptist Church in honor of Michele, 8415 Highway 392, Harrison, AR 72601.

Pallbearers are Jonathan Liggett, Joshua Liggett, Jared Clough, Bryan Spears, Kevin Spears and Kevin Cochran. Honorary pallbearers are Dawn Spears, Jorden Spears, Jase Liggett, Piper Liggett, Reagan Clough, Kamden Liggett and more baby, Asa Clough.
