Nancie Dee Paine Carrigan passed away in her home on Saturday, Nov. 10 (2018).  

She was born on April 19, 1951, in Plainview, Hale County, Texas to Sim Hoover Paine and Charlene Venita Paine.

She spent most of her childhood in Booker, Texas. She attended college in Florida, then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. She married on May 10, 1994 her husband Kenney Lee Carrigan. They lived in Indianapolis and then Anderson Flat. Nancie worked as a secretary/bookkeeper. She retired from N.W. Area on Aging.

She is survived by her husband, Kenney; her brother Jim Paine; and sister Cindy Day.  

She was preceded in death by both of her parents.

Nancie was an amazing friend and loving wife.

She spent most of her time in the small cabin in the woods watching nature and working on family history and talking to her best friend, her sister Cindy.

She was a longtime member of the National Speleological Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, and United Daughters of the Confederacy.

The family has requested that donations be made to your church.
