A visitation was held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 14, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m., all at Longview Funeral Home & Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.

Pamela Jo Billings, 66, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, formerly of Harrison, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 10 (2018).

Pam was born Aug. 29, 1951 in Harrison to Merle W. Villines and LouEtta Chaney Villines. She moved to Kansas City and met and married Chuck Billings. She graduated with the Order of the Bench and Robe distinction from UMKC School of Law in 1998. Pamela became a member of the Missouri State Bar and the Kansas State Bar. She was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International. She was a practicing attorney until her retirement in 2017.

Pam’s greatest joy was her family, especially their trips to the lake and to Florida beaches. She enjoyed bunko. She was an avid reader of murder mysteries. Pam was actively involved with her three grandchildren. Nana made certain that their many outings whether to the zoo, bungie jumping or air shows were fun and exciting.

Pam is preceded in death by her father; her brother, Honorable Judge Watson Villines; and her niece, Katie Villines.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck Billings of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; her daughter, Carol Jo “Scooter” (Paul) Talley of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; grandchildren, Tori Talley, Hannah Talley, and Hunter Talley; her mother, LouEtta Villines of Harrison; her sister, Sherrye McBryde of Little Rock; her sister-in-law, Dana Villines of Conway; her nieces, Amanda (Brad) Cowger of Conway and Chaney McBryde of Little Rock; her nephews, James McBryde, John McBryde, Michael (Mary Nell) McBryde, all of Little Rock and Jared Thomas of Benton.

A visitation was held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 14, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m., all at Longview Funeral Home & Cemetery, 12700 S. Raytown Road, Kansas City, MO 64149.
