Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, Mo., with burial at Howell Valley Cemetery; Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 22, at the funeral home.

Peggy Lou Young Waddell, 78, of Prairie Grove, passed away at 9:03 a.m. Thursday, April 18 (2019) at Earlene Howard Hospice Home/Circle of Life in Springdale.

Funeral services for Peggy Waddell will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains, Missouri.

She was born Dec. 30, 1940, at West Plains, Missouri, to Henry T. Pliler and Mildred L. Powers Pliler. On August 27, 1955, she was married at Salem, to Leon Walter Young, who preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1998. On Dec. 30, 2002, she was married at Prairie Grove, to Wayne Waddell. Peggy enjoyed crocheting, making quilts, cooking and being active in her church.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Waddell, of the family home; three children, Kimra Falkner and husband, Johnny, and Sarah Cossairt and husband, Randy, all of Prairie Grove, and Penny Austin and husband, Andy, of Lead Hill; eight grandchildren, Tommy Falkner and wife, Cori, Joseph Boyle and wife, Jennifer, Christopher Falkner, Matthew Walker and wife, Heather, Amanda Wall and husband, Cy, Daniel Welk and wife, Tira, Tara Self and husband, Brett and Dustin Welk and wife, Sarah; 19 great-grandchildren, Elijah, Alexis, Kaylee, Kaden, Chloe K., Layne, Chloe W., Thomas, Asa, Logan, Kaitlyn, Savannah, Abigail, Sierra, Amilia, Hutch, Case, Kelby and Conner.

Her parents, first husband, Leon Young, daughter, Brenda Lou Young Chipman, one great-grandson, Stetson Ryder Self and two brothers, Joe and Charles Pliler, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 22, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Valley Cemetery.
