Funeral service for Roy Lee Huston, 52, of Omaha will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Williams Memorial Chapel at College of the Ozarks, Point Lookout, Missouri. The Rev. Wendall Edwards and the Rev. Wade Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow at the Methodist Cemetery, Omaha. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.
Roy entered into rest on Wednesday, Oct. 22 (2014) in Branson, Missouri.
Roy was born on Dec. 26, 1961, in Harrison. He was the son of Charles and Wanda Faye (Blevins) Huston. Roy graduated from the Omaha High School. He married the love of his life, Lisa Richardson, on June 7, 1983, in Forsyth, Missouri. This past summer they had celebrated 31 years together. Roy and Lisa were blessed with three daughters. Roy worked at College of the Ozarks where he was the water supervisor for the water treatment plant. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially the four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Faye Huston.
Roy leaves behind his loving wife, Lisa, of the home; Kortnie and Corey Evans and children, Taylor and Dalton, of Omaha; Kayla and Dean Shatwell and children, Roy Lance and Gracie, of Harrison; Kylee Huston, of Omaha,; three sisters of Omaha; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, friends and his College of the Ozarks family.
A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Snapp Bearden Funeral Home, Branson, Missouri.
