Sharon Ann Wallin, 58, of Hasty, died Tuesday, April 26 (2011) at Arkansas Heart Hospital, Little Rock.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at River of Life Assembly of God Church, Valley Springs, with Brother Mike Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 29, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sand Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Craig Marshall, Kevin Waldon, Justin Waldon, Wesley Waldon, Larry Waldon and Michael Bohannon. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Tom Leslie, Dr. Lonnie Harrison, Edward and Iris Smith, Robbie and Pam Smith and Tonja Smith.
The daughter of Darrell and Jimmie B. (Holt) Smith was born April 5, 1953, at Kansas City, Mo. She was a founding member of River of Life Assembly of God Church. She was a seamstress for Levi Strauss in Harrison. She loved gatherings and cookouts with family and friends. She was a lady with a big heart, an open door for anybody and a true angel on earth.
She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell Smith and one sister, Debra Marshall.
She is survived by her husband, Len Wallin of Hasty; a son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Lisa Wallin of Everton; her mother, Jimmie B. Smith of Jasper; sisters and brother-in-law, Janet and Doug Young of Jasper and Brenda Bohannon of Malvern; grandchildren, Lea Canady of Harrison, Andrew Thomas of Lead Hill and Samantha and husband James Schultz of Lead Hill; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Dylan.
