Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at Holt Memorial Chapel, with burial at Milum Cemetery, Lead Hill; Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Holt Memorial Chapel.

Shelby “Keith” Alexander, age 65, of Lead Hill, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 25 (2015).  

Keith, the son of Glenn and Valeta Alexander, was born June 5, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Keith started out as a long haul trucker then worked for Tyson as a driver for 23 years. Since retiring in 2010, he worked repairing small engines. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing. 

Keith was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, James and Nellie Alexander and Bernard and Velma Franklin; and his father and mother-in-law, John Roy and Dorothy Austin.

He is survived by Sherry, his wife of 43 years; two daughters, Mindy Alexander, of Hollister, Missouri, and Missy Milligan and husband, James, of Lead Hill; his brothers, Terry and wife, Paula Alexander, of Columbia, Missouri, and JB and wife, Reina Alexander, of Bergman; and his sisters, Alona Alexander, of  Springdale, and Sarah Alexander, of Harrison.  

Keith is also survived by his granddaughter, Alexis Taylor and grandson, Malachi Thomas; nephews, Scott Alexander, Todd Alexander and Tyler Austin; nieces, Eva Laurin, Angie May, Celie Barnard and husband Bryan, Jaclyn Austin and Lacey Yarbrough; sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda Cavender, Johnnie and Rhonda Austin and Jackie and Beverly Austin; and many dear friends.  

Service will be at Holt Memorial Chapel, visitation being from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, and funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28. Burial will be at the Milum Cemetery in Lead Hill. Pallbearers include: James Milligan, J.B. Alexander, Tyler Austin, Bryan Barnard, Garrett Barnard and Cody Austin.
