Service: Memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, with graveside service following immediately at Maplewood Cemetery; Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at the funeral home.
John Steven “Steve” Wood, of Harrison, passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 59.
The son of John W. “Bill” and Margaret (Hendrix) Wood was born Dec. 19, 1957, in Memphis, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Steve is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica (Wood) and Chip Johnson, of Dallas, Texas; his stepdaughter, Lacey Beauchamp, of Fayetteville; his brother, Phillip Wood, of Harrison; and granddaughter, Margaret Grace Johnson; and many other relatives, friends and co-workers who loved him and will miss him.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison, with Pastor Heath Kirkpatrick officiating. Graveside services are immediately following at Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at the funeral home.
