Violet Lorrine Trussell Cartright of Harrison died Sunday, May 8 (2011) at Bristol Pointe Rehab.
A native of Joplin, Mo., she was preceded in death by her parents, George and Clara Willis; brothers, Billy, Jim and Harold Willis and Bob Conner; and sister, Rose Parrish.
She is survived by her son, Bill and wife Margaret Trussell; daughter, Linda Ingram; brother, Harvey Willis; sisters, Jewell Stoots and Georgia Boyd; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Nazarene Church of Harrison for the past 10 years. She was a resident of the Cottonwood Heights Apartments and enjoyed visiting with her neighbors.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Mo. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery, Anderson, Mo. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, May 16, at the Nazarene Church in Harrison.
