Graveside service at 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, at Maplewood Cemetery, with arrangements by Holt Memorial Chapel.
William Robert Breit, age 62, of Harrison, Arkansas, son of the late Dr. William H. Breit and the late Betty Breit Barker, passed away peacefully at his home after a long battle with respiratory illness on Friday, June 9 (2017).
Bob attended elementary and junior high school in Harrison, Arkansas, and after moving to Paris, Texas, following the death of his father, graduated from Paris High School. He was a graduate of Paris Junior College with a degree in watch and jewelry making. He was a certified gemologist. Bob enjoyed taking classes at North Arkansas Community College the last few years where he made the Dean's List several times. Bob was a 32nd Degree Mason.
He is survived by sisters, Barbara Maris (Pete), of Little Rock, and Beth Green (the late Mike Green), of Prairie Grove; brother Bill Barker (Gudrun), of Oklahoma; Aunt Virginia Riggs, of Fayetteville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his friends at Woodland Heights Apartments, and Jack Rose for their help and friendship to Bob.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, at Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison.
