William Terry, of Harrison, died on Tuesday, April 10 (2018) at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was 47 years old.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, at Holt Memorial Chapel. A visitation will be one hour before service time. Brother Tom Peltier and the Rev. Johnny Bley will officiate. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Eric O’Leary, Dillon Duggan, Austin Stevens, Billy Gene Terry Jr., Jeremy Terry, and Steven Terry. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Cook, Jesse Stevens and Danny Wayne Stevens.
The son of Billy and Paulette (Chandler) Terry was born on April 13, 1970, in Shelby, Mississippi.
William was a skilled carpenter who loved building things in his spare time. He also enjoyed working on cars, but most of all he enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren. He had been attending Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Dwayne Terry; his father-in-law, Danny Watkins; and one daughter, Taylor O’Leary.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Terry, of the home; his mother, Paulette Terry, of Hollandale, Mississippi; four sons, Eric O’Leary and his wife, Brooklynn, of Harrison, and Austin, Steve and Brandon Renfro, all of Greenville, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Jaelynn and Tayt O’Leary, and Cara Clarke; two brothers and their wives, Dale and Tammy Terry and Billy and Connie Terry, all of Hollandale, Mississippi; one sister-in-law, Mary Terry Wright; and his mother-in-law, Linda Watkins, of Harrison.
