Krooked Kreek Water Association under boil order

The Arkansas Department of Health has confirmed that the boil order notice issued is for the entire system. This order was issued as a precautionary measure because of the possibility that contaminated water may have entered the distribution system as a result of a loss in normal system pressure and an issue of individual frozen lines preventing the tank from filling.

All affected customers must be advised that the water may be unsafe for human consumption. Water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use.

This precautionay boil order will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected, and adequate disinfectant level is established throughout the distribution system and bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
