Crypto mining is coming into Arkansas at an alarming rate. The out-of-state owners are choosing Arkansas because we have relatively low energy rates and because we welcome economic development. Sometimes, we welcome new industries with open arms, only to find out later that there is a reason other states don’t want them. They create intractable problems and few jobs.
