Passover Glory Weekend

Passover Glory Weekend hosted by Jim and Charlene Phillips will begin at 6:30 p.m. on 

Friday, April 19.  With a time of praise and worship with Evangelist Kris Jackson. The meeting is open to public. On Saturday, April 20, at 10:30 a.m. Dr. Richard Booker will preside over the Passover Seder (registration is required) and seating is limited to 50 people. On Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. the public is invited to a special healing service with evangelists Wayne and Sandy Warmack from Greater Works Ministries. Egg Hunt to benefit food bank

St. Joe — The Buffalo River Baptist Church will host a community-wide Easter egg hung at the St. Joe School on Saturday, April 20. Registration begins at 9:45 a.m. Age-graded hunts will follow. Bounce houses, prize drawings, refreshments and more. Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item(s) to restock the local food pantry. For information call (870) 438-8111.

Egg drop set

Brand New Church (BNC) will host an egg drop on Saturday, April 20 at 11:30 a.m. The food, face painting, snow cones, cash prizes, gift cards and more will be held in the field next to the Bergman High School.

Community Easter Egg Hunt

BATAVIA — Batavia Assembly of God will host a community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20.  There will be food and games at 1 p.m. and the egg hunt will begin at 2 p.m.  Over 5,000 eggs will be divided up by age groups.  There will be prizes, inflatables, food and games!  There will also be a special Easter Service on Sunday, April 21, at 10:45 a.m. with a potluck meal following.  Pastors Phillip and Rachel Collie invite everyone.  To learn more about Batavia Assembly of God or for directions, visit www.BataviaAG.com or call (870) 741-3660.

Newton County Egg drop

NEWTON COUNTY — Newton County Baptist Church and Rock Haven Bible Camp are hosting the Egg Drop Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 20. The event will be held at the Mount Judea school. Registration starts at 10 a.m. with games, bounce houses, popcorn, cotton candy. At noon, 8,000 candy-filled eggs will drop from the helicopter. Easter sunrise service

DEER — Deer Baptist Church will host an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 21, with breakfast to follow. Sunday School is set for 9 a.m. and Worship at 10 a.m.

On Easter Sunday, April 21, Valley View United Methodist Church on Valley View Road will have a 6:30 a.m. service with a breakfast potluck to follow. Bellefonte UMC will have services at 9:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday. 

Easter at the Creek

Bear Creek Springs Baptist Church will share the true meaning of Easter on Sunday, April 21. A free breakfast begins at 9:30 a.m. and free family portraits begin after breakfast. Worship service is at 11 in the gym and an egg hunt will immediately follow. Child care provided for three years and under.

ST. JOE — The Buffalo River Baptist Church located at Hwy. 374 West in St. Joe, will host a big breakfast beginning at 9:45 a.m. with the Easter church service to follow at 11 a.m. Transportation is available. Call (870) 439-8111 for information.

Revival services

DIAMOND CITY — The First Baptist Church of Diamond City will host revival services with David Graham on Wednesday-Sunday, April 24-28. Wednesday-Saturday services will begin at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday morning services will be at 10:30 a.m. Call (479) 264-3767 for more information.

Missionary Chad Braymer to speak

Open Door Baptist Church will host Baptist Bible Fellowship International, missionary to Costa Rica, Chad Braymer and his family at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 28. A potluck lunch will follow the morning services, with an ordination service for Chad at 3 p.m. The church is located at 606 Cottonwood Road. 

National Day of Prayer

Secretary of State John Thurston will be the main speaker for the National Day of Prayer activities on the Courtpark lawn at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 2. The theme of this year’s time of prayer and emphasis will be on children — the unborn and born.

Evangelist Rod Masteller to speak

Revival services begin at Bear Creek Springs Baptist Church on Sunday, May 5, at 11 a.m. and then nightly from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Sunday-Wednesday, May 5-8. Dinner will be serviced Wednesday evening at 5:30. Evangelist Rod Masteller, Dallas, Texas will be speaking. Child care provided for five years and under. 

Interfaith Arkansas scholarship application

The Interfaith Arkansas Scholarship is intended to empower a clergy person to learn community development skills they will utilize to empower their community.  The scholarship is intended to cover all three years of CDI.  It is intended primarily for clergy, but all people from the faith community are encouraged to apply.
