Friends of the Boone County Library are hosting a Valentine’s Day Bake Sale at the library on Wednesday, Feb. 14,10 a.m.—4.p.m., 221 W. Stephenson Ave. in Harrison. The sale will include a large variety of cakes, cookies and more. The Friends of the Boone County Library is a 501(c)(3) and all proceeds benefit the library. At the bake sale, there will also be a drawing to win either a Valentine's box of See's Candies or a gift certificate for Neighbor's Mill Bakery and Cafe in Harrison. There is no charge to enter the drawing. more

The Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce announced their roster of speakers for their 2024 annual meeting, set for March 12, 2024. The panelists were chosen to speak directly to issues of workforce development in the Harrison area and beyond, and each of their backgrounds will provide insight into the barriers to workforce development and proven results that enhance workforce pipelines in Arkansas. more

It’s Upwards season again. Ryan Puls said, “The Lord has blessed us with great numbers again, we have over 250 basketball players and over 50 cheerleaders. So at total registration of more than 300. This is up over 50 participants from last year.” more
