The Boone County Friends of the Library (FOL) held a Valentine's Day bake sale on Wednesday, Feb. 14. FOL is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 organization that works to enhance the Boone County Library through volunteer work and fundraising. Enhancements to the library include the addition of new books, programs, building improvements and more. The FOL will host a spring book sale April 11—April 13, more details on this popular event will be provided at a later date. more

Friends of the Boone County Library are hosting a Valentine’s Day Bake Sale at the library on Wednesday, Feb. 14,10 a.m.—4.p.m., 221 W. Stephenson Ave. in Harrison. The sale will include a large variety of cakes, cookies and more. The Friends of the Boone County Library is a 501(c)(3) and all proceeds benefit the library. At the bake sale, there will also be a drawing to win either a Valentine's box of See's Candies or a gift certificate for Neighbor's Mill Bakery and Cafe in Harrison. There is no charge to enter the drawing. more
