Beechwood Cemetery clean-up

PONCA — There will be a clean-up day at the Beechwood Cemetery near Ponca beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 27.

Bring tools for working. Donations to the cemetery are appreciated.

To reach the cemetery, turn right off Highway 43 at the Lost Valley turnoff, then right to the cemetery.

Warner Cemetery work day set

There will be a work day at the Warner Cemetery beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27.

Bring rakes, saws, hoes, gloves and other cleaning tools.

Keesee Cemetery work day set

A work day is planned for the Keesee Cemetery beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4. Bring rake and shovels. Work will continue until finished.

Rain day is Saturday, May 11.

York Cemetery meeting

There will be a meeting for the York Cemetery at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at the Methodist Church in Bergman, Highway 7 North.

Decoration Day at Denning Cemetery                                                                                                                                                     Decoration will be held at Denning Cemetery from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday May 18, rain or shine.

This will be a potluck meal with hamburger meat, hot dogs, buns and condiments provided. Attendees need to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Bottled water will be available. Games and musical instruments are welcome. Don’t forget to bring lawn chairs for your sitting comfort. A porta potty will be on sight.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
