A rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Mary Mother of God Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. both on Saturday, June 15; burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery.  

David Marion Chittenden, of Eureka Springs, passed from this life on Friday, June 7 (2019) at the Earlene Howard Hospice Home in Springdale. He was 60 years old. 

A rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Mary Mother of God Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. both on Saturday, June 15. Father Jim Fanrak will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. 

The son of Leroy R. and Helen (Simpson) Chittenden was born on June 20, 1958, in Arlington, Virginia. 

David was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed working on cars. He was a member of Mary Mother of God Catholic Church.  

He was preceded in death by his father. 

Survivors include his mother and her husband, Helen and Dan Roberts, of Harrison; one daughter, Kaitlin Chittenden, of Richmond, Virginia; one brother, Roy Chittenden, of Manassas, Virginia; three sisters, Deborah Moss and husband Joseph, of Green Forest, Sharon Kosmider, of Pinellas Park, Florida, and Laura Kuriatnyk, of Gravette; and his best friend, Kim Knill, of Reston, Virginia. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
