Frances Marie Chrobak

Service: Graveside at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Maplewood Cemetery; Visitation: 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Holt Memorial Chapel.

Frances Marie Chrobak, of Harrison, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 5 (2019) at Cox Hospital in Branson, Missouri. She was 79 years old. 

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. at Holt Memorial Chapel followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery both on Tuesday, June 18. Bobby O’Brien will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dustin Burdine, Shawn Burdine, Jeff Williams, Clint Williams, Tracy Newton and Tanner Newton. 

The daughter of James H. and Marguerite (White) Shook was born on Dec. 23, 1939, in San Diego, California. 

Frances enjoyed crocheting and reading and loved her dogs as if they were her babies. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Rodney P. Sargent; stepdaughter, Ann Marie Chrobak; and one step-great-grandson, Hunter Williams. 

She is survived by her husband, Renard Chrobak; two sons, Robert M. Sargent Jr. and wife Anne, and James E. Flynt and wife Tracy; five step-daughters, Vicki Williams and husband Jeff, Kathy Rushing and husband Jeff, Veronica Burdine and husband George, Theresa Newton and husband Tracy, and Sara Chrobak; two granddaughters; one step-granddaughter; five step-grandsons; and numerous other step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
