Ginger (Carson) Walsh, age 70, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, June 19 (2016) in Fayetteville.

The daughter of Joe and Oleta Carson was born Feb. 19, 1946, in Prairie Grove.

Ginger was a member of Capps Road Church of Christ, where she was a beloved Christian and friend to all. She had been employed at Harrison High School and Mass Merchandiser's before retiring as a homemaker, wife and mother.

She attended Rogers High School and graduated in 1965. She enjoyed sports, supporting both the Harrison Goblins and Northark Pioneers. She married Bud Walsh in Rogers, on Aug. 4, 1966, and they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.

Ginger is survived by her husband, Bud Walsh, of the home; her daughter, Amy Little and husband Aaron, of Nixa, Missouri; her grandson, Hudson Thomas Little; her sisters, Maralyne Grigg and husband Bill, of Rogers, and Peggy Scott, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, at Coffman Chapel in Harrison, with Norman Sewell officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m. Private interment will be at a later date in Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Hills in Harrison, or the future Ronald McDonald House-Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
