Michael Patrick Staton, age 45, of Harrison, went home to be with his Lord after a long battle with melanoma on the morning of Tuesday, July 2 (2019).
Michael was born on March 9, 1974, to Mike and Phyllis (Fletcher) Staton in Fort Scott, Kansas.
He ran his own business, M & T Electronics, for over two decades where he worked beside family and friends. He married his soul mate, Julie, on July 13, 2013.
Michael was an avid music lover. His genius mind was constantly solving the world’s problems, from day to day issues to politics and religion and he loved getting into lasting conversations about his point of view on those topics. He was known for his intelligence, inexhaustible humor, constant laughter, infectious smile, and kind compassionate spirit.
Michael has never met a stranger and wanted to come to faith and trust in Jesus Christ. His faith was unwavering.
