Peggy Jo Howard, age 88, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, May 19 (2019) at Harrison Rehabilitation and Health Center.
Peggy was born May 15, 1931, to Jesse and Leona (Wilson) Howard in Piedmont, Missouri.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband; son, Dwight Howard; and brothers, Jesse Mabury, Bill Mabury and Bob Mabury.
Peggy worked as an accountant before retiring for the U.S. government. She loved gardening and roses. Peggy was a member of Batavia Baptist Church.
Peggy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Toney and LouAnn Howard, of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Dwayne Howard, of Harrison; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathie and Paul Hendrick, of Harrison, and Lockie and George Courtney, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and sister, Margaret Brooks, of Piedmont, Missouri.
She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date in Piedmont, Missouri.
