Dear Editor

I am a sixth-generation resident on the Buffalo National River and my ancestors moved here in the early 1800s.

I am concerned about the hog farm on Big Creek. I am sure the hogs could use more slop. They need to be turned loose on the Buffalo River to clean up the human waste that is strode along the river.

I ride the river a lot and I’ve never seen so much toilet paper and human waste.

Could that be the problem?

I am sure the hogs are not the problem.

Of the million-plus people who tour the Buffalo each. Year, I wonder how many relieve themselves before they head home?
