Ozark Rape Crisis Center hosted their Second Annual Summer Lip Sync Showdown Saturday, June 1, at the Lyric Theater in downtown Harrison. The event was supported by the Harrison CVB, and several local businesses who helped sponsored the event. Attendees of the event enjoyed a silent auction in the lobby, as well as raffle door prizes, and a lip sync battle featuring 15 performing acts.

Performers competed for Harrison’s celebrity judges, Robin Reeves, Judge Robert Hathaway, Lisa Johnson and Mayor Jerry Jackson. The judges scored the performers on lip sync ability, originality, choreography and overall stage presence. Trophies were awarded for first, second, and third place, as well as for an Audience Choice Award in which the audience was able to cast their votes via their phones.

The event was a fundraiser for the Ozark Rape Crisis Center, which provides services for survivors of sexual violence in Boone, Carroll, Marion, Newton, Searcy, Johnson and Pope Counties.

Following are some scenes from this year’s Summer Lip Sync Showdown fundraiser.
