Green Forest 4th, 5th, and 6th graders had the opportunity to compete in a school chess tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 29th. 49 students participated in the tournament. Winners were Luis Bathen Gonzalez (1st place Middle), Jasmin Cenobio (2nd place left), and Alex Lemus (3rd place Right). These students along with Kason Compton, Destiny Mayes, and Jadon Ochoa will represent Green Forest at the Elementary Chess Tournament and Ozarks Unlimited Resources Educational Cooperative on Nov. 14.
