Greetings from Capps. I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day last Sunday. Glad we had pleasant weather, although it did rain a little earlier.
Our pastor, Ricky Stone, shared some special memories of his mama and passed out lovely roses.
At Capps Full Gospel all the mothers got a card and very nice gift.
The lot at Trinity Baptist was pretty full too, so it's good to see people honoring their mothers (and the Lord).
Our neighbor, Joel, got his Creel road frontage fenced so his cattle are happily grazing that down. Our pastures can rest and grow up for a bit now.
This Saturday (today) will be the Homesteaders Swap meet from 8-noon at the Capps Mini-Storage, get there early.
I made friends with Chris Wrone from Capps who needed a ride to town last week, glad he's reading the articles as many of you have and are. It's nice to get some feedback, all positive so far. As always, I'd like to hear from more folks in the Capps area about comings and goings.
A hummingbird got in my wife, Jennifer’s, face to let her know he wasn’t happy that she hadn't put out the feeders yet.
Until next time, have a blessed week.
