12:04 a.m. - A parking lot collision was reported in the municipal lot across from the police department. A report was made.

1:21 a.m. - An officer was at the Walmart parking lot where a female subject was found and was unable to wake up. When she was able to speak to the officer, she said she had been driving all day. No report was made.

8:30 a.m. - A woman reported that her son took her vehicle and had not returned. The vehicle was returned and the woman did not want to pursue the matter.

10:03 a.m. - Walmart called to report a shoplifter. The subject had left the parking lot in a white Honda car after taking two air conditioners and some drinks. The car was southbound on U.S. 65 traveling at a high rate of speed. A patrol officer arrested the 30-year-old man charging him with battery in 3rd degree and theft of property. Bond was set at $1,570.

10:24 a.m. - A woman came to HPD and complained that someone was throwing rocks and shooting bbs at her residence. The officer said extra patrols would be conducted in the area.

10:28 a.m. - A parking lot collision was reported at Share and Care. Information was noted for insurance purposes.

10:38 a.m. - A caller reported two stray dogs appeared on her front yard. She was told that the city pound is full.

11:04 a.m. - A parking lot collision at Ranch House Plaza was reported. Information was noted for insurance purposes.

11:40 a.m. - While responding to a trespassing complaint, a 41-year-old man was arrested on an HPD warrant for possession of Hydrocodone and marijuana. Bond was set at $1,000, and he was later released.

12:08 p.m. - A person complained she was attacked that morning at a friend’s house. A complaint of battery was made.

1:07 p.m. - A hit and run collision on the Bypass near the Ford dealership was reported. A report was made.

4:25 p.m. - NARMC contacted HPD to report that a man was in the ER claiming he had been assaulted. A report was made.

4:35 p.m. - State police contacted HPD to report two cars were headed into the city limits at a high rate of speed. Officers waited at the intersection of U.S. 65 and Airport Road, but were unable to locate the cars.

4:54 p.m. - An officer reported a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 65 in front of the Days Inn. A report was made.

9:27 p.m. - A motor vehicle collision was reported in front of Buckets on U.S. 65. Information was taken for a report.

9:26 p.m. - A man contacted HPD complaining that his neighbor sprayed him in the face with weed killer and hit him in the hand with the wand. This happened after the neighbor threw a trash can at the man's car. A citation was issued for battery in the third degree.

10:09 p.m. - State police contacted HPD to report a red Honda driving across all lanes of traffic and hitting the curb. A police officer reported being with the vehicle. No report was made.

10:18 p.m. - A report was received of an unattended death. The scene was turned over to the coroner.
