3:38 a.m. — Boone County authorities requested an officer back up a deputy on a traffic stop on Prestonwood. Assist completed.
4:41 a.m. — An officer on patrol advised someone hit a utility pole on Main Street near Spruce and it was split in half. Energy was notified and a report filed for leaving the scene of an accident.
4:53 a.m. — A male subject on Taylor Drive called to report someone broke the windows out of his vehicle with a claw hammer and left the hammer on the center console. A formal criminal mischief complaint was filed.
5:56 a.m. — A recovery service reported repossessing a vehicle on West Ridge. Information noted for future reference.
7:02 a.m. — A woman called to report someone had backed a camper near a business on North Sycamore and plugged into an electrical outlet outside. She said she hadn’t seen anyone around the camper, but she did unplug the electricity. An officer said the subject agreed to move along and the woman declined formal charges.
7:27 a.m. — A woman called to report someone entered her unsecured garage and broke into vehicles, stealing several items. A formal complaint was filed.
8:17 a.m. — A caller reported a tote containing several kittens had been dumped beside McCoy Drive. Animal Control advised the kittens were turned over to Ozark Homeward Bound.
8:23 a.m. — A caller reported a dog dragging a rope was running loose on Park Avenue. Animal Control was notified.
8:26 a.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Main and Lake Shore Drive. An officer on scene served a 27-year-old woman with a warrant for failure to comply with court orders on no proof of insurance, failure to yield with accident, driving on a suspended license and no seat belt with bond set at $1,140. She was later released with a new court date.
9:58 a.m. — An officer out at an address on Dawson Drive arrested an 83-year-old woman on a warrant for harassing communications. She was later transported to NARMC.
11:15 a.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Prospect and Walnut.
11:42 a.m. — An employee at the Dollar General on the square reported a suspected shoplifter left the business on foot. An officer located the 37-year-old man and arrested him for theft of property, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance with bond set at $2,500. He was later taken to the Boone County Jail for incarceration.
11:49 a.m. — A caller reported possible drug activity. Officers were notified.
12:12 p.m. — A 28-year-old woman went to the HPD stating she had just arrived in Harrison from Texas, where she had an open child protective services case. She said her caseworker in Texas required a call from police stating she had arrived. Assist completed.
12:21 p.m. — A caller reported some tenants moved out of an address on North Maple and left dogs behind. Animal Control was notified.
12:36 p.m. — An officer on a traffic stop arrested a 22-year-old female subject for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released after posting $1,420 professional bond.
1:05 p.m. — A parking lot wreck was reported outside Rust, Dust and Wanderlust. The caller said he didn’t notice the damage until the other driver left the scene. He said he would go to the HPD later to talk to an officer.
1:36 p.m. — A caller reported a dog running loose at Minnie Harris Park. Animal Control was notified.
2:38 p.m. — An employee at the DHS office requested an officer be present when a woman went there for child visitation. An officer said the woman didn’t show up.
3:06 p.m. — A male subject called to report finding a checkbook on Main Street and it might be stolen. An officer took possession of the item.
3:06 p.m. — A caller reported two male subjects tried to pass counterfeit money at Little Britches and Bows and left on foot northbound on Main Street. Officers didn’t locate the subjects in the area at the time.
3:47 p.m. — An officer advised he would be in foot pursuit of a male subject behind the Northside Church of Christ. The 24-year-old man was caught and arrested for obstruction of governmental operations and fleeing on foot with bond set at $695. He was later released on a signature bond. A 43-year-old man was located nearby where a vehicle had apparently been abandoned and arrested for public intoxication with bond set at $390. He was also later released on a signature bond.
4:21 p.m. — Boone County authorities requested officers watch for a woman wanted regarding a domestic assault. Officers were notified.
4:26 p.m. — A man called to talk to an officer about the eviction process. Information given.
4:29 p.m. — An officer out at an address on North Spring Road arrested a female subject for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia with bond set at $2,500. She was later taken to the Boone County Jail for incarceration.
4:59 p.m. — Officers out at an address on East Bunn arrested two women for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance. Both were later released after posting $2,500 professional bond each.
6:36 p.m. — A caller reported a male subject went to her address on South Ash and asked her to call police. Officers determined the man had been fighting with his brother when the brother had a heart attack. He was taken to NARMC.
6:57 p.m. — A caller reported a possible break-in at First Assembly of God Church. Officers cleared the building of suspects and extra patrol was issued.
6:26 p.m. — A male subject went to the HPD to report his cell phone stolen while he was at the Brandon Burlsworth Youth Center pool. Information noted for future reference.
8:37 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Main and Spruce.
10:01 p.m. — A caller reported juveniles driving recklessly on the Walmart parking lot. An officer said they were gone when he checked the area.
10:08 a.m. — An officer on a traffic stop said a male subject reported his girlfriend had been kidnapped. An officer said that allegation was unfounded, but a 19-year-old female subject was arrested on a warrant for probation violation with bond set at $1,290 cash only. She was later taken to the Boone County Jail for incarceration.
10:38 p.m. — Marion County authorities requested officers watch for a 15-year-old girl reported as a runaway. Officers were notified.
10:47 p.m. — A Walmart employee reported a female subject who had been warned to stay away from the store had returned. An officer arrested the 27-year-old woman for theft of property. She was later released after posting $660 professional bond.
