1:36 a.m. — An officer on patrol advised he was checking an occupied vehicle at Minnie Harris Park. The occupants were just eating and said they would leave when they were done.
2:29 a.m. — A caller reported a male subject urinating on the parking lot outside T’s BBQ on Highway 65 North. An officer said it did appear the subject was urinating when he arrived, but he was actually just holding his phone low and using WiFi to find a ride home. He was advised to move along.
2:44 a.m. — Marion County authorities requested officers watch for a vehicle taken without permission from Snow. Officers were notified.
3:05 a.m. — An officer went to Chillicothe, Missouri, to transport a female jail inmate back to the Boone County Jail.
7:28 a.m. — A caller reported a small black bear running into a wooded area near Dry Jordan Creek off Commercial Avenue. Officers were notified.
8:30 a.m. — A caller reported fuel siphoned from a vehicle parked on Crandall. A formal theft complaint was filed and extra patrol was issued.
8:31 a.m. — A woman called to report she hit a building with her vehicle on North Main. No injuries were reported.
9:27 a.m. — A parking lot wreck was reported outside Walmart. Information noted for insurance purposes.
10:12 a.m. — Baxter County authorities contacted the HPD for warrant confirmation on a 31-year-old woman for probation violation with bond set at $5,793.50 cash only. The warrant was confirmed valid and she remained incarcerated with a hold for the HPD.
10:54 a.m. — Extra patrol was requested on Prairie Drive due to speeders.
12:06 p.m. — A woman called to report someone harassing her mentally ill daughter. An officer explained her options in the matter.
12:33 p.m. — A woman called to report she found her door kicked in at The Links and a man ran out, knocking her down as he fled. Officers didn’t locate the subject in the area.
1:39 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported on West Stephenson in front of Boone County Title.
2:39 p.m. — A woman called to report she clipped a stop sign at Holt and Maple with a moving truck. The street Department was notified, but she was also served with a read-only warrant for failure to comply with court orders on shoplifting and driving on a suspended license. She was released with a new court date.
2:57 p.m. — Extra patrol was requested at Tower Manor Apartments due to an unwanted male subject in the area.
2:59 p.m. — A woman went to the HPD to report a trash can missing from her residence on West Wilson. Information passed on to Orion Waste Solutions.
3:19 p.m. — A caller reported dogs on West Newman were “out of control.” Information passed on to Animal Control.
3:28 p.m. — A woman called requesting information regarding an incident on Ezma. She was advised of the proper steps to take.
4:41 p.m. — An anonymous female subject called to report a Level 3 registered sex offender out of Marion County was at Minnie Harris Park. An officer explained that the subject had a right to be at the park.
4:56 p.m. — Extra patrol was requested on South Walnut due to speeders.
5:02 p.m. — A woman went to the HPD to report a male subject appeared to be “casing” her residence on Highway 123. She was told to call back when the subject was present and extra patrol was issued.
5:37 p.m. — A caller reported two large dogs loose at Prospect and Liberty. An officer didn’t locate any dogs after checking the area.
5:38 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at the north interchange.
5:47 p.m. — A male subject went to the HPD to talk to an officer about problems with his neighbors. He was advised of his options.
8:15 p.m. — A parking lot wreck was reported outside Casey’s on Highway 65 North. Information noted for future reference.
9 p.m. — A woman called to report a driver hit her car while it was parked on South Maple. An officer said the parties agreed to exchange insurance information.
9:57 p.m. — A caller reported an ex-employee at Jamie’s had returned and was unwanted. An officer issued the 30-year-old man a warning for criminal trespass and he left the area.
10:06 p.m. — Eureka Springs Police requested officers watch for a vehicle reported stolen that night. Officers were notified.
10:40 p.m. — A caller reported hearing a female subject screaming on West Newman. An officer made contact with a resident who said it had probably been his child screaming on the back deck and everything was fine.
11:18 p.m. — A caller reported a bear roaming loose in the area of The Links. The caller was referred to Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
